Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders and a highlight of Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit. Formed over two million years ago after the collapse of a massive volcanic mountain, the crater is the world’s largest intact and unflooded caldera, covering approximately 260 square kilometers (100 square miles).
